Will You Go To...

So a journey that started at home to Stoke on a sunny August day, ends at Oldham, otherwise known as the coldest place in Britain. It may be April, but don't let that fool you — take a jumper just in case.

How much is it to get in? £15 adults, £7 cons. Allocation? 3,000 seats available in the ITV Sport Channel (ha!) Stand.

Nearest train station? Any of Oldham Mumps(?!), Oldham Werneth or Mill Hills, but Mumps is the furthest away and is not really practical. All stations are served by North West Trains on the Oldham Rochdale loop from Manchester Victoria.

Going by road? Leave the M62 at Junction 20 and take the A627(M) towards Oldham. There is a club car park, and whilst street parking is available, after 1.30pm the police start shutting roads off.

Feeling thirsty? Away from central Manchester, pubs are plentiful in Oldham and friendly enough, including the Supporters Club bar. Names to look out for include The Queens, The Clayton Arms (next to the ground), The White Hart and The Royal.
