Will You go To...

For every decent ground in this division, there's one that is distinctly awful. Colchester quite possibly tops the lot but there are plans for the club to move to a new 10,000 all-seater stadium within the next couple of years. They certainly could do with it.

How much to get in? Seats: £13.50 adults, £7.50 cons. Terrace: £11.00 adults, £5.50 cons.

Allocation? 405 seat tickets and 950 terrace tickets. The match is all-ticket and the remainder of our allocation are now on general sale. The seating and standing areas are at opposite ends of the ground, and offer worms-eye viewing with plenty of supporting pillars to make matters worse.

Nearest station? Colchester station, a good half-hours walk away. A cab will set you back about a fiver.

Going by car? Head for the A12 (J28 of the M25), leaving this at the Halstead/Cambridge turn off. Follow the signs to Colchester, then head through the town centre for Layer Road.

Feeling thirsty? The Drury pub at the top of Layer Road was full of QPR fans last season for our trip there in the Worthington Cup, which has a beer garden for overspill. Otherwise, the town centre offers a decent variety of watering holes but remember to allow yourself time to get to the ground.
