Will You Go To...

As their league position suggests, Bristol City are living up to their pre-season odds for promotion, and indeed were top of the table not so long ago. They're definitely beatable though, and hopefully the match won't be any worse than our last visit, three years ago.

How much to get in? £14 adults, £5 cons.

Allocation? 4,000 seats — no advance sales, pay cash at the turnstiles on the day.

Nearest station? Bristol Temple Meads, which is at least two miles from the ground — you're best advised to jump in a taxi.

Going by car? Leave the M5 at Junction 18, travel along the Portway (A4) following signs for the Bristol Airport/Taunton (A38). Over the swing bridge (Brunel Way), branching left into Winterstoke Road, and you will see the ground on your left.

Feeling thirsty? The Pumphouse and the Nova Scotia by the waterfront are OK for away supporters. Pubs nearer the ground such as the Hen & Chicken, The Wedlocks and The Rising Sun should however be given a wide berth.
